About The Position

We are hiring a Director of Finance & Accounting to lead day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting across Cadence Innovations Group and its entities. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the financial close, the production of entity-level and consolidated financial statements, and the management of the finance and accounting team. The Director reports to the CFO and partners closely with operating-company leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity or consolidated environments.
3-5 years demonstrated experience leading and supervising an accounting team.
Strong technical accounting foundation (US GAAP) and experience owning the close and financial statement process.
Hands-on ERP experience; Acumatica experience a plus.
High attention to accuracy, strong follow-through, and clear written and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

Experience in insurance, warranty, automotive, or financial services a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly and annual close across all CIG entities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations.
Produce accurate, timely entity-level and consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
Lead, supervise, and develop the finance and accounting team; set priorities, review work, and ensure coverage across close, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts; establish and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.
Manage intercompany transactions, allocations, and consolidations across the entity structure.
Coordinate external audit and tax engagements; serve as the primary liaison to outside auditors and tax advisors.
Own and administer the ERP system (Acumatica), including configuration, integrations, and data integrity.
Support treasury functions including cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash reporting.
Support entity-specific accounting needs, including reinsurance and captive-related accounting for the insurance businesses.
Partner with the CFO and operating leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
