Director of Family and Community Engagement
About The Position
The Director of Family and Community Engagement is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and oversight of family and community engagement initiatives that support student success, well-being, and meaningful partnerships between schools, families, and the community. The Director develops, implements, and evaluates strategies, systems, and structures that promote family engagement, youth development, and community collaboration aligned with the District's mission, vision, and strategic priorities. The Director oversees the Office of Family and Community Engagement and related programs, ensuring effective service delivery, operational efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Director works collaboratively with district departments, school leaders, families, community organizations, and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and remove barriers to student success.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in family and community engagement.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies and systems.
- Experience in overseeing programs and ensuring effective service delivery.
- Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders including district departments, school leaders, families, and community organizations.
