Requirements

5+ years of experience in event management within luxury hospitality, resorts, or wellness environments.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi-day event programs.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both internally with staff and externally with clients.
Ability to manage budgets, billing, and post-event reconciliation with accuracy.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, management, and accountability (LMA) for the Events and Banquet teams.
Lead the Events and Banquets team to ensure processes, organization, and event operations are set up for success.
Serve as the primary liaison between groups and internal departments, communicating group needs clearly to Operations for flawless execution.
Oversee and ensure the execution of Resume meetings and Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings.
Monitor event delivery to maintain CIVANA’s high service standards and ensure a consistent guest experience.
Ensure accurate post-event billing and reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Guest Experience, Food & Beverage, and Operations to deliver best-in-class group event experiences.
