About The Position
The Director of Events is responsible for selling, closing, and executing social and catering business to meet revenue goals. This role involves leading and developing the CS and SESM teams, partnering cross-functionally with F&B, Banquets, and Sales to deliver seamless event experiences, managing forecasts, budgets, and market trends, and ensuring all event details are meticulously handled. The position also focuses on continuous process improvements and client engagement to stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements
- 5+ years in hotel catering & event services
- Team leadership background
- Strong tech skills (Delphi.fdc/CI-TY & Microsoft Office)
- Forecasting and budget savvy (ProfitSage, ProfitSword a plus)
- Excellent communicator – Clear, kind, and confident with clients and colleagues alike.
- Valid driver’s license & some travel flexibility
