Concord Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Director of Event Services to lead the planning and execution of group events. Requirements
- Proven experience in convention services, event planning, or related hospitality roles.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with digital sales systems such as Delphi, PMS platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied schedules as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
- Manage all event details from initial planning through post-event follow-up, including room blocks, contracts, billing, and critical deadlines.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and catering teams to forecast and maximize group room and food & beverage revenue.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of hotel services and effectively utilize digital sales and property management systems (PMS).
- Attend client functions and represent the hotel professionally, working varied schedules as business demands.
- Work independently while leading and motivating teams to foster collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
- Achieve performance goals and support team development through training and career growth opportunities.
- Adhere to all company policies and respond to management directives promptly and professionally.
