About The Position

Silverspot Cinema is seeking a multi-unit Director of Event Sales to drive revenue, build relationships, and deliver exceptional events across their locations. This role is for a sales-driven individual who excels at closing deals, leading teams, and creating memorable client experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of event sales experience (hospitality, catering, restaurant, or hotel preferred)
  • Proven success in sales, negotiation, and business development
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute revenue-driving plans
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience with CRM systems (Tripleseat a plus!)
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive event sales growth by generating new business, nurturing leads, and closing high-value deals
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, studios, agencies, planners, and community partners
  • Lead and develop a high-performing event sales team through coaching, goal setting, and performance management
  • Oversee the full event lifecycle—from concept and proposal through execution and post-event follow-up
  • Partner with theater operations to ensure seamless, high-quality event delivery
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including budgets, pricing models, and target markets
  • Ensure CRM (Tripleseat) accuracy and consistent follow-up on all inquiries and opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing, culinary, and accounting teams to maximize profitability and performance
  • Analyze sales performance and produce reports, forecasts, and insights to drive continuous improvement
