Director of Environmental Services
About The Position
The Village at Summerville is currently seeking to fill a Director of Environmental Services position. The Village at Summerville is a “Life Plan Community” that has served the area for 60 years and is dedicated and compassionate about Senior adults. This Director role will oversee the quality control of environmental services to ensure continual operations in compliance according to DHEC standards, as well as, provide leadership, direction and supervision to housekeeping/laundry specialist and floor techs. In addition, but not limited to, other duties are assisting the Executive Director in preparing department operating and capital budgets; monitoring expenditures; maintaining relations with private contractors and service agencies; coordinating community moves with Maintenance department, residents and/or their families; and assisting residents with specific needs upon request.
Requirements
- Minimum of three firm years of related supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of DHEC regulations.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- High school diploma.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in related field.
- Five years of supervisory experience in long term care field.
