About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Director of Environmental Services who sees housekeeping as more than cleaning. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three or more years of supervisory or management experience in environmental services, healthcare, hospitals, long-term care, hospitality, hotels, or a related service environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading teams through coaching, accountability, and professional development.
  • Knowledge of environmental services operations, infection prevention, OSHA, and safety practices preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to creating an environment where residents feel proud to call Emerald Trace home.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop our housekeeping team.
  • Build schedules and staffing plans that support outstanding resident service.
  • Ensure the community consistently reflects the high standards our residents deserve.
  • Oversee infection prevention practices related to environmental services.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and continuously improve departmental performance.
  • Manage departmental budgets, supplies, equipment, and purchasing.
  • Partner with Nursing, Maintenance, Dining Services, Activities, Infection Prevention, and Administration to create an exceptional resident experience.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance, Safety, and Infection Prevention initiatives.
  • Foster a culture where accountability, teamwork, kindness, and excellence are simply how we do business.
