About The Position

The International School of Denver (ISDenver) is seeking a Director of Enrollment Management to lead its admissions, enrollment, and retention programs. This role requires a leader who is warm, service-oriented, data-informed, and passionate about communicating the value of an IB, immersion education. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing a mission-aligned, financially sound, and progressive enrollment strategy. This position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring collaboration across four divisions and two campuses, and guiding families through their journey from initial inquiry to matriculation and beyond. The role involves close partnership with marketing, communications, academic leadership, and finance to support the school's growth, particularly its High School, and to shape incoming cohorts across three languages of instruction.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is a minimum requirement; an advanced degree is desirable. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrable experience in admissions (including High School), enrollment management, or a related role — preferably in independent or international schools — paired with a willingness to remain hands-on.

  • Demonstrated success managing enrollment or CRM systems and using data to inform strategy, forecasting, and communication with leadership and trustees.

  • Experience in an education setting and familiarity with school systems (SIS, CRM, etc.).
  • A relationship-driven, service-oriented style — warm and authentic with families, and eager to partner with colleagues across campus and divisions.
  • Dynamic and engaging communication and public-speaking skills, with close listening and the ability to “read a room” and adapt.
  • A strategic thinker and creative problem-solver who understands how enrollment connects to the broader school community and mission.
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness, with the creativity to find practical solutions when budgets are tight and demands are many.
  • A responsible steward of school resources who balances ambition with fiscal discipline and a clear-eyed sense of enrollment health.
  • Cultural competence and enthusiasm for a multilingual, international community.
  • An empathetic, collegial, innovative, and patient mindset, and an eagerness to participate in the life of the school — which may include occasional evening or weekend events.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms and see, talk and hear.

  • Ability to function effectively in environments with moderate to high noise levels (e.g., classrooms, musical performances, lunchroom(s), crowded hallways).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pivot between tasks as needed.

  • Capacity to maintain professional boundaries and engage in regular 1:1 or group interactions with students, staff, and the public.
