About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Engineering who is deeply committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role will lead the development of high quality Windows applications while shaping an evolving cross platform strategy using Flutter, ensuring products are intuitive, performant, and consistently deliver outstanding user experiences to millions of customers. This is a Hybrid position located in our Frisco, TX office. We value in-office collaboration and meaningful interactions, so expect that you will be able to be in the office on a regular basis according to team needs. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to the Frisco, TX office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time About the Role Lead and scale engineering teams building customer‑facing Windows and cross‑platform applications with a relentless focus on UX quality and customer outcomes. Stay technically engaged through hands‑on coding, design reviews, and thoughtful use of AI‑enabled development tools to drive efficiency and quality.‑. Partner closely with UX Design and Product to translate customer insights into intuitive, polished, and accessible experiences. Define and execute a cross‑platform strategy, leveraging Flutter to deliver consistent, best-in-class experiences across platforms. Set high standards for usability, performance, reliability, and accessibility across all applications. Own architectural direction across Windows services, UI frameworks, and shared application layers. Drive engineering excellence through modern development practices, CI/CD, automation, and quality metrics. Build and mentor leaders who take personal ownership of customer experience and UX quality.

Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years in engineering leadership.
Proven experience delivering high‑quality, customer‑facing Windows applications at scale.
Strong technical background in Windows UI technologies (C/C++, Windows internals etc).
Experience with or exposure to cross‑platform development, ideally Flutter/Dart.
Demonstrated ability to partner deeply with design and advocate for UX excellence.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, full SDLC, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Passion for building products that customers love to use, not just products that ship.
