The Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality (GCPI) is seeking a Director of Editorial Strategy to help shape how the Center translates research, policy, and lived experiences into persuasive, accessible, and influential products. Working across the center, the Director of Editorial Strategy, will guide the development of editorial products and strategies that strengthen GCPI’s ability to inform policy, shape public conversations, and advance its mission. GCPI is working to strengthen public understanding of poverty, affordability, caregiving, and economic opportunity by producing work that is rigorous, practical, and usable. The Director of Editorial Strategy will play a critical role in ensuring that GCPI’s ideas reach and resonate with policymakers, practitioners, philanthropy, media, and broader audiences. This role sits at the intersection of policy, narrative, and strategy, helping transform complex ideas into clear, compelling, and people-centered products—including publications, data & analytical tools, events, convenings, speeches, video explainers, and educational materials—that inform decisions and shape conversations.
