  • Experience owning editorial or content strategy at a senior level.
  • Exceptional writer and editor with strong instincts for what is interesting, distinctive, and worth saying.
  • Track record of creating content programs that build audiences and influence markets.
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership.
  • Experience creating original research, reports, editorial franchises, or other high-authority content.
  • Strong understanding of how content creates demand across organic search, social, email, events, earned media, and other channels.
  • Ability to understand complex technology and turn it into simple, provocative, compelling stories.
  • Strong strategic judgment paired with a willingness to be hands-on when necessary.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and help shape the story while the company and product strategy are still evolving.

Responsibilities

  • Build Vitally's editorial strategy, defining owned ideas, topics, and conversations.
  • Create a cohesive editorial strategy across long-form, social, research, video, events, and other channels.
  • Build recurring editorial franchises to ensure audience engagement.
  • Develop the narrative arc connecting company strategy, product vision, and market point of view.
  • Shape a market movement by turning Vitally’s perspective on AI, Customer Success, and customer intelligence into compelling market narratives.
  • Build sustained market education before, during, and after major launches.
  • Identify opportunities for Vitally to lead industry conversations.
  • Create ideas and content that help buyers understand the need for market change before introducing solutions.
  • Build Vitally's thought leadership platform by partnering with executives to develop differentiated points of view and recognizable voices.
  • Turn executive expertise into strong social content, articles, talks, media opportunities, and industry commentary.
  • Build a consistent thought-leadership cadence.
  • Create original research that offers genuine contributions to the market.
  • Build flagship research properties to generate attention, earned media, backlinks, conversation, and demand.
  • Find interesting stories within customer, market, survey, and product data.
  • Lead editorial strategy and quality across articles, reports, guides, newsletters, campaigns, video, and other formats.
  • Partner with Growth to translate editorial authority into organic traffic, audience growth, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to extend launches into larger market stories beyond product messaging.
  • Develop content that supports buyers throughout their journey.
