About The Position

The Director of Dual Enrollment and Educational Partnerships will provide strategic leadership for the University of Redlands' dual enrollment initiatives, PK–20 educational partnerships, and regional pathway development efforts. This position advances the University's commitment to educational access, college readiness, workforce development, and community engagement through collaborative partnerships with K–12 school districts, county offices of education, community colleges, and regional organizations across the Inland Empire and beyond. Serving as a university-wide connector between the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Education, Enrollment, and Academic Affairs, the Director leads the development, implementation, coordination, and assessment of dual enrollment programs and educational partnerships designed to expand student access to university coursework and strengthen pathways into higher education. The Director works collaboratively with university leadership, faculty, district administrators, counselors, and community stakeholders to build scalable and sustainable educational partnerships aligned with institutional priorities and student success outcomes. This includes supporting dual enrollment pathways, Career Technical Education (CTE) partnerships, college readiness initiatives, and regional collaborations that strengthen access to higher education. Reporting collaboratively to designated university leadership, the Director represents the University of Redlands in regional partnership development and serves as a key strategist in advancing the University's presence as a regional hub for educational opportunity and partnership. This position requires flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as well as the ability to travel regularly throughout the region, as required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education, Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in K–12 education, higher education, dual enrollment, educational partnerships, college access initiatives, or academic program leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience developing collaborative partnerships across educational institutions and community organizations.
  • Valid California Class C driver's license with a good driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development, implementation, and stewardship of dual enrollment partnerships with school districts, county offices of education, charter networks, and community organizations.
  • Develops a fee-for-service model for an Office of Dual Enrollment.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals, counselors, teachers, and regional educational leaders.
  • Coordinates the development and expansion of dual enrollment pathways aligned with institutional priorities, regional workforce needs, and student interests.
  • Collaborates with university leadership, faculty, and academic units to identify opportunities for new partnerships, pathway programs, and academic offerings.
  • Assists in the development of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), partnership agreements, implementation plans, and operational timelines.
  • Supports the expansion of university presence and visibility throughout the Inland Empire and surrounding regions through strategic educational partnerships.
  • Coordinates collaboratively with the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Business and Society, Enrollment, the Registrar's Office, Academic Affairs, and university faculty to support dual enrollment course offerings and pathway development.
  • Assists with planning related to course scheduling, modality, staffing, enrollment management, and instructional delivery for dual enrollment partnerships.
  • Supports the onboarding and coordination of district educators serving as adjunct instructors within University dual enrollment programs.
  • Collaborates with university offices to ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and state regulations related to dual enrollment programming.
  • Helps facilitate seamless student transitions from dual enrollment participation into undergraduate degree programs at the University of Redlands.
  • Collaborates with Enrollment Management and Student Success teams to strengthen recruitment, onboarding, and matriculation pathways for dual enrollment students.
  • Develops and maintains student-facing pathway resources, partnership guides, and informational materials.
  • Assists with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to participation, enrollment, persistence, and partnership outcomes.
  • Supports systems and initiatives that promote college readiness, student belonging, and successful transitions into higher education.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between the University and regional educational partners connected to dual enrollment initiatives.
  • Represents the University at district meetings, community events, conferences, and regional partnership convenings.
  • Coordinates communication and outreach efforts related to dual enrollment initiatives, pathway opportunities, and partnership development.
  • Works collaboratively with university stakeholders to elevate awareness and visibility of partnership initiatives across the region.
  • Assists with budget planning, operational coordination, and implementation processes related to dual enrollment and partnership initiatives.
  • Supervises assigned staff, graduate assistants, and/or student workers as appropriate.
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation related to partnerships, agreements, enrollment activity, and program implementation.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.
