Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and management experitse
  • Associate's degree required
  • R.T.(S), ARRT, or CNMT registry or registry in a Diagnostic Imaging related field required
  • 2-3 years of experience
  • 0-1 years of experience in Supervision
  • BLS required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Director or Supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records including PACS system preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the diagnostic imaging department.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to ensure continuity of operations for all provided imaging modalities.
  • Reviews and is responsible for all QA proceedings and delegates equipment QA to responsible staff as needed.
  • Evaluate accuracy and quality of images and provides technical assistance for staff.
  • Oversee the use of all radiology equipment.
  • Responsible for monitoring the safety of all employees and patients including radiation levels.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and control the department’s annual budget.
  • Supervises as provides direction for the Diagnostic Imaging supervisor.
  • Incorporate evidence-based practice into development and performance improvement activities.
  • Develop and maintains departmental policies and procedures in collaboration with Leadership and the Diagnostic Imaging Medical Director.
  • Maintain QA logs for all required imaging modalities.
  • Actively participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
  • Support and carries out hospital policies.
  • Work at maintaining exceptional rapport and a cooperative working relationship with all departments and staff.
  • Prioritize assigned work to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain professional affiliations as appropriate and participates in professional activities to keep abreast of developments in Diagnostic Imaging.
