Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- 8 years or more of fundraising experience
- Must submit a cover letter with the application
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all fundraising activities of the Center.
- Assist with all aspects of the Center's website.
- Establish new and ongoing sponsorships with the Center.
- Play a large role in creating strategies for solid fundraising, donor relations, planned giving, and all other development functions.
- Continuous effort of donor relations, planned giving, stewardship, and sponsor recognition.
- Maintain and grow sponsorships for the Center.
- Assist in monitoring and updating the website and coordinate the use of the site for other programs.
- Work with the VP of Community Relations to assist with all agency events.
- Build and maintain relationships with media platforms like newspapers, radio, and television.
- Monitor the receipt of donations and the thank-you process of the donors.
- Monitor the flow of funding and report to the VP and Development Committee on a regular basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Take the lead in launching a planned giving program in the next year.
