About The Position
The UNM Foundation seeks nominations and applications for an accomplished, relationship-driven fundraising professional to serve as Director of Development for Popejoy Hall at The University of New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative advancement team supporting one of New Mexico’s premier cultural institutions. The successful candidate will help lead strategic fundraising efforts focused on annual giving and major gifts, while working closely with Popejoy Hall leadership, volunteers, donors, and community partners to cultivate meaningful philanthropic relationships. We seek a dynamic, results-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a proven track record in fundraising, and a passion for advancing the performing arts through philanthropy. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while helping shape the future of one of the region’s most celebrated performing arts venues.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree
- At least 3 years of successful fundraising and development experience, preferably in higher education.
Responsibilities
- Help lead strategic fundraising efforts focused on annual giving and major gifts.
- Work closely with Popejoy Hall leadership, volunteers, donors, and community partners to cultivate meaningful philanthropic relationships.
