About The Position

The Director of Data Integrity provides strategic and operational leadership for the Foundation's data governance and constituent information management functions, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data that supports fundraising and organizational decision-making. Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement Services, the Director establishes and advances data standards, stewardship practices, and quality controls that promote trusted constituent data across the Foundation's data ecosystem. The Director leads the Data Integrity department and collaborates closely with Prospect Research and Management, Gift Processing, Business Intelligence, Development, and other data stakeholders to advance data management best practices and support organizational objectives. By maximizing the value of the Foundation’s data assets, the Director enables fundraising success, constituent engagement, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in advancement services, CRM administration, data management, or related operations
  • Experience developing and enforcing data standards and governance practices
  • Understanding of fundraising database entities and terminology
  • Demonstrated experience working with detailed records and maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience working with an enterprise CRM, preferably Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, data security standards, and compliance practices
  • Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of constituent records
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Establish organizational best practices for constituent data entry, maintenance, documentation, and usage
  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on improving data quality, consistency, and operational efficiency
  • Direct ongoing data integrity initiatives including audits, cleanup projects, duplicate management, and standardization efforts
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver data literacy initiatives that empower staff to understand, interpret, and apply data responsibly
