About The Position

This role is responsible for defining and building the King Ranch consumer data platform and infrastructure. The Director will define and execute the customer analytics and data science roadmap, aligned with business objectives to drive incremental margin opportunities. This includes developing predictive models and machine learning solutions to improve customer acquisition, retention, segmentation, personalization, and forecasting. The position requires translating complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for executive stakeholders, partnering with cross-functional teams, and establishing KPIs, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance measurement strategies. The role also involves driving experimentation, overseeing scalable analytics infrastructure, ensuring data quality and governance, presenting strategic insights to senior leadership, staying current on emerging trends, and fostering a culture of innovation and data literacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles, including leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading customer analytics or customer intelligence initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, machine learning, and customer segmentation techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle metrics, retention strategies, attribution models, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data environments and modern data platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence executive decision-making.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Present strategic insights and business performance updates to senior leadership and executive teams
  • Stay current on emerging trends in analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and customer intelligence technologies
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data literacy across the organization
