About The Position

Sodexo is hiring a Director of Custodial Services for a portfolio of K‑12 school districts in the northwest Atlanta region. This role involves managing custodial operations across multiple schools, focusing on both operational oversight and relationship management. The successful leader will serve as a trusted advisor to school boards, administrators, parents, and community stakeholders, shaping service delivery, mentoring future leaders, and ensuring sanitation standards support safe and healthy learning environments for students. This position is eligible for incentives, including a relocation package and an annual incentive plan bonus.

Requirements

Demonstrated success as a Director‑level custodial leader within a K‑12 school environment.
Proven ability to build and sustain strong client relationships at all organizational levels.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing managers for long‑term growth and succession planning.
Confidence presenting to school boards and addressing parent/teacher concerns about sanitation and safety.
Operational expertise managing multi‑site custodial programs with significant budget responsibility.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of Management Experience.
Minimum 5 years of Functional Experience.

Responsibilities

Lead custodial operations across K‑12 district accounts, ensuring consistent quality, compliance, and service excellence.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with district leaders, school boards, and community stakeholders.
Mentor and develop managerial staff, creating a strong succession pipeline for the region.
Present operational updates, sanitation plans, and performance metrics to school boards and parent groups.
Oversee staffing, budgeting, and operational planning for accounts ranging from $1.5M to $4M in annual volume.
