About The Position

CareOne is seeking a Director of Culinary Services to join their Culinary Arts team. This role focuses on creating dining experiences that are both healthy and enjoyable for residents, incorporating personalized menu choices and tableside cooking. The position is within a long-term care, short-term rehab, and skilled nursing environment.

Requirements

  • ServSafe certified
  • 2+ years' experience as a Food/Culinary Service Director in a long term care/sub-acute environment
  • Desire to serve others is necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Dietary Manager preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be well-versed in purchasing systems, menu programs and software, and be able to read and understand financial reports associated with the Dietary Department.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of and commitment to meet federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner with other team members to meet the nutritional needs of the residents and to provide services for special events and daily activity programs.
