This is a merit hire position. The Dauphin County Mental Health/Autism/Developmental Programs is currently accepting applications for a full-time position of Director of Crisis Intervention Services. The hourly rate for this position is $27.92. The Director of Crisis Intervention is responsible for the administrative and supervisory work associated with assisting the Dauphin County Mental Health/ Autism/ Developmental Programs Administrator 3 in directing the crisis intervention components of the County mental health/developmental programs agency. Work includes the supervision of all crisis intervention services in the County. In this capacity, the Director of Crisis Intervention analyzes and assists in planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive crisis intervention program, providing telephone, walk-in, and mobile crisis services; and monitors direct services to ensure program quality and conformance with established Federal, State, and Local mental health regulations and policies. Supervision is exercised directly over two program supervisors and indirectly over 22 full and part-time crisis intervention staff members. Director of Crisis Intervention also maintains coordination and oversight of external licensed crisis intervention providers in the county, credentialed under the HC MCO to assure continuity of services and completion of all emergency service obligations. In the absence of the County Mental Health/Autism/Developmental Programs Administrator 3, the employee is responsible for the continued operations of the crisis intervention program.
