About The Position

AI is rewriting the rules of business, and Gravitee is at the center of that transformation. As our Director of Creative, you won’t just be supporting a product; you’ll be shaping how the world perceives and adopts the next generation of AI-driven digital experiences. Are you a creative leader who can turn a bold idea into a category the whole market talks about? Do you obsess over craft — the story, the design, the film, the feeling — while knowing exactly how it moves a business forward? We’re hiring a Creative Director to define and lead the creative and narrative that will establish Gravitee as the company that owns its category. Reporting to the VP Marketing, you’ll set the creative vision for the brand and bring it to life across every channel — partnering closely with Product Marketing, Digital, and GTM to make our story impossible to ignore. A core part of this role is leveraging AI everywhere, not as a side tool, but as a first-class creative capability. You’ll use AI tools, automations, and agents to accelerate concepting, production, and iteration — generating more ideas, more variations, and more finished work, faster, without ever lowering the quality bar. You will champion a culture where AI amplifies human creativity rather than replacing it. As our Creative Director, you will own brand identity, the creative system, and the quality bar for everything Gravitee puts into the world — from campaigns and video to web, events, and social. This is a player-coach role: you’ll be hands-on in the craft — concepting, writing, art-directing, and designing — while building and leading a small in-house team and directing external agencies, freelancers, and production partners to scale output without diluting the work. The ideal candidate has built and led the creative for a new category before, blends strategic narrative instinct with serious craft, and is equally comfortable in the work and leading others to do their best work. This is a rare opportunity to shape how an entire market understands a new way of building software — and to make Gravitee the brand that defines it.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building out a new category (or repositioning a company into one) and leading the creative that made it land in the market.
  • A player-coach: genuinely hands-on in the craft and a proven manager of both internal teams and external agencies, freelancers, and production partners.
  • A standout portfolio spanning brand, campaign, video, and digital, with craft and originality at its core.
  • 7+ years in creative roles, including 3+ years leading creative teams, ideally in B2B SaaS or technical/developer brands.
  • Strong narrative and storytelling instinct: able to turn complex, technical products into clear, emotionally resonant stories.
  • AI-native creative: hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate concepting, production, and iteration without compromising quality.
  • Commercially minded, comfortable in a fast-paced scale-up, and able to connect creative work to pipeline and brand outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of strong cross-functional collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS, AI-enabled systems, or open-source communities, but a "growth mindset" and curiosity matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative expression of a new category, turning a bold market position into a story, a brand world, and campaigns that make it famous.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning and messaging into emotionally resonant, distinctive creative across the funnel.
  • Develop the big creative ideas and brand platforms that differentiate Gravitee and earn attention in a crowded technical market.
  • Own and evolve Gravitee’s visual identity, design system, and tone of voice, and uphold a consistently high quality bar.
  • Set the creative standard across web, product, campaigns, events, social, and sales, ensuring everything looks and feels unmistakably Gravitee.
  • Act as the guardian of the brand, balancing creative ambition with commercial impact.
  • Stay hands-on in the work: concept, write, art-direct, design, and oversee the production of video, campaign, web, and brand creative.
  • Roll up your sleeves to deliver standout assets yourself, not just brief and review them.
  • Use AI tools to move from idea to finished work faster, raising both the volume and the quality of creative output.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing in-house creative team across design, content, and video.
  • Select, brief, and direct external agencies, freelancers, and production partners to extend the team’s capacity and capability.
  • Run a clear intake and prioritisation process so creative is a strategic partner to the business, not a request queue.
  • Partner with Digital and GTM to ensure creative drives demand, pipeline, and conversion, not just brand awareness.
  • Define how creative effectiveness is measured and use the data to make the work sharper over time.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and Product to keep the brand and narrative consistent at every touchpoint.
