About The Position

The Director of Creative Resourcing is responsible for bringing intention and strategy to staffing across the studio, ensuring the right people are on the right projects at the right time. This role involves anticipating challenges, balancing competing priorities, and thoughtfully assembling teams to enable them to do their best work. Success is measured by the strength of the teams built and the quality of supporting decisions, rather than just efficient allocation or organized spreadsheets.

  • Decisive and comfortable making recommendations when priorities compete and information is incomplete.
  • Organized and detail-oriented without losing sight of the broader strategic picture.
  • Strong communicator who can clearly articulate tradeoffs, priorities, and recommendations.
  • Appreciates that successful creative teams are built through intentional composition rather than simple availability.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating people, projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a studio environment.
  • Professional experience in creative services, interior design, architecture, studio operations, project delivery, resource management, or a related field.
  • Leadership-level presence and credibility, with the confidence to facilitate discussions and influence decisions across the studio.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, project delivery processes, and team leadership.
  • Understanding of project financials, including budgeting, profitability, utilization, and resource planning.
  • Experience preparing proposals, contracts, scopes of work, change orders, or other project-related documentation.
  • Familiarity with project billing, revenue forecasting, and fee management.
