This role provides leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR) team. The Director will establish clear annual goals, KPIs, and professional development plans for each team member, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic discipline. This position ensures alignment and collaboration with frontline major gifts, planned giving, donor relations, Marketing and Communications, and hospital executives. The Director will develop and execute multi-year strategic plans for corporate, foundation, and CMN fundraising that support institutional strategic priorities. Responsibilities include overseeing the creation of tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for corporate and foundation donors, directing the corporate pipeline, and overseeing the foundation strategy. The role also leads annual planning and forecasting for CFR and CMN revenue, tracks progress to goals, and oversees the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) program. Additionally, the Director serves as a primary partner to clinical and administrative leaders, collaborates with various departments to develop proposals and cases for support, and leads systematic prospecting to identify new funders. The role involves managing a personal portfolio of high-value prospects and partners, ensuring ethical standards, and representing Texas Children’s as a senior ambassador.
