The Director of Corporate and Community Partners Program will support the College’s APEX vision (Applied, Professional, and Experiential), a learning ecosystem that connects an applied liberal arts education with real-world experiences and career preparation by growing the College’s corporate partners program. The position will strategically build partnerships with for-profit and non-profit organizations that advance the College’s goals, generate revenue, strengthen APEX, and develop regional talent pipelines. The position will cultivate corporate engagement through sponsorships, volunteerism, in-kind support, advocacy, and other opportunities while developing relationships that support companies’ talent needs in the recruitment, development, and retention of their workforce. Additionally, the individual will play a vital role in the business development side of APEX, actively seeking partners to host students during Experiential Learning Week, drive new opportunities for internships and early career roles, collaborate with the Career Development Office, and more. This position will have significant interaction with the Provost’s Office of the College, while still reporting through advancement.
