About The Position

In this role, you will oversee teams of 2 to 20 individuals with customer accounts ranging from 10M to 250M+ while managing Project Executives, Project Managers and Project Teams to build top talent and achieve highest customer satisfaction. You will ensure team members understand what is expected of them and hold them accountable for performance, provide regular feedback and have development conversations, delegate appropriate tasks and provide timely and meaningful recognition. You will assess and promote professional skill development and training for direct reports, and onboard and mentor direct reports towards best career path through mentorship and coaching. You will implement, and hold team accountable to, corporate goals and initiatives. You will develop contacts and quickly build relationships with potential clients, and play a key role in relationship building and management of customers. You will make effective and convincing formal sales presentations to prospective customers and effectively negotiate business and legal provisions of construction contracts. You will consistently achieve customer satisfaction goals and raving fans, and consistently promote high levels of quality, design and profitability on projects. You will manage and coordinate all aspects of the Ryan business model, including development, capital markets, design and engineering, preconstruction, and building services/property management. You will promote innovation within Ryan and act as an ambassador to peers in other regions and divisions. You will coordinate with market sector leads to balance workload, responsibility, and integration between sector and region talent, and align Regional and Divisional priorities with peers to ensure high levels of execution, accountability and consistency.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years successful industry experience
  • At least 5 years handling accounts from $10 to $250 million+
  • A bachelor's degree in an industry-related field is required.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize and balance big picture & immediate responsibilities
  • Must be able to listen effectively and value the opinions of others & acknowledge contributions of others
  • Must be able to train, manage, and hold staff accountable to get results consistent with corporate plans
  • Must be able to recognize, select, and hire top talent at the appropriate time
  • Must be able to develop talent to all levels within construction operations.
  • Solid understanding of the local construction market
  • Ability to effectively negotiate construction contracts to Ryan’s best business and legal interest.
  • Proven ability to manage team successful & profitably
  • Proven ability to lead & develop people.
  • Resolving issues promptly for a 'win-win' solution is required.
  • Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
