Alternatives, Inc. in Raritan, NJ is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Community Outreach Services to provide leadership, vision, and clinical oversight for our mental health programs and services. Requirements

  • Masters Degree plus current NJ professional license in good standing (LCSW or LPC)
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen
  • Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening
  • Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support training
  • Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the Community Outreach Services Department which includes Community Support Services (CSS), Franklin House, and two Permanent Housing Programs
  • Providing clinical and direct supervision to various staff within the department
  • Adhering to all Medicaid requirements, as well as state licensing standards and regulations
  • Representing Alternatives on various committees at local, County and state levels
  • Must be available during normal business hours, and occasional evenings based on program need
  • Participates on a rotation to cover the 24/7 COS On Call
