The Director of Communications is responsible for both the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the organization’s communications, marketing, media relations, and public engagement efforts. This position develops and implements communication strategies that strengthen community awareness, donor engagement, volunteer recruitment, and organizational visibility while also providing direct oversight of communication content, campaigns, and messaging initiatives. The Director of Communications serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team and is responsible for ensuring consistent messaging, brand integrity, and effective storytelling across all communication platforms. This role oversees marketing and communication initiatives including media relations, digital communications, social media, publications, campaigns, and community messaging that promote TPCHFH’s impact and reputation throughout the community. Direct reports may range from 1–2 staff.
