About The Position

Madera Community Hospital, a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital located in Central California, is seeking a Director of Clinical Services. This role is responsible for the oversight of clinical services and nursing operations across the Hospital. The Director will represent Administration in matters of clinical operations, staffing, quality, and regulatory compliance, and will follow the MCH Chain of Command for reporting. The incumbent must maintain a full understanding and support the Hospital Mission and Vision Statements, and Performance Improvement Programs, as well as demonstrate behavior consistent with the Hospital’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive nursing leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting, including supervisor or management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and clinical leadership skills necessary to oversee MCH clinical areas including ICU, Med/Surg, ER, Surgery and Clinic.
  • Possesses a fundamental knowledge of the principles of administration and personnel management, with advanced preparation in a clinical specialty area, nursing administration and/or teaching.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive professional attitude and guest relations.
  • Current State of California Registered Nurse Licensure required.
  • Current American Health Association BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
  • NIHSS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Must obtain CEUs for licensure re-certification in leadership and clinical areas of education from approved/accredited courses.
