About The Position

alooola helps physicians and corporate employees manage investments, retirement planning, spending, and insurance through a mobile app and financial advisory services. The Director of Client Relationships will be the primary contact for an established client base while developing the company’s corporate retirement plan business nationwide. The role combines client relationship management with business development and the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial conversations through fee review, proposal, close, and handoff to the plan design and onboarding team. The position is remote, with at least five days per month spent in person at the Kingston, New Jersey office or visiting clients. During the first 90 days, the Director will take ownership of 150 to 200 existing client relationships and arrange calls or Zoom meetings with each over the following year. The role will also include visiting five to eight corporate 401(k) clients in person to review their plans with leadership, connecting with plan participants about retirement allocations and other financial goals, and beginning to develop a nationwide pipeline of companies that may benefit from a 401(k) fee review. The Director will meet with clients and plan participants virtually and in person, work with the advisory and plan design team to ensure proposals can be delivered, and maintain organized client notes, tasks, and pipeline records in the CRM. The company describes its culture as informal and high-trust, with employees sharing wins and raising roadblocks as they arise.
