About The Position

The director will lead and direct the Civil Engineering Technician Program under limited supervision, including establishing program goals, operational procedures, and long-range work plans; managing program resources; and ensuring alignment with institutional, industry, and accreditation requirements. Requirements

  • Two full-time years of verified related paid occupational experience in civil engineering and/or land surveying filed, performing duties as a technician, engineer or surveyor.
  • A Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; an Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience.
  • Degree must be in civil engineering technology, land surveying technology, or civil engineering.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the last five years
  • The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in Civil Engineering within the last five years.
