MCAPS-Core DAAI is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Business Program Management to lead business transformation initiatives that accelerate Microsoft's data, analytics, and AI ambitions. In this role, you will partner across engineering, analytics, customer success, operations, and executive leadership teams to define strategy, drive execution, and deliver innovative solutions that transform data into intelligence and intelligence into action. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 15+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • Management, Operations, Planning, Finance, Workforce Planning, or equivalent experience, including experience leading complex cross-functional programs, developing executive recommendations, and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively across diverse audiences, executive stakeholders, and highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong program management, process optimization, and operational excellence experience, with a track record of leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to develop creative, data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted partnerships and driving impact through influence, collaboration, and relationship management at all organizational levels.
  • Experience leading business operations, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and workforce/headcount planning processes.
  • Expertise in driving enterprise transformation programs, including AI strategy, AI operations, governance, and investment planning.
  • Exceptional executive storytelling, business review development, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive strategic programs that advance DAAI's data, analytics, AI, and business transformation objectives.
  • Partner with senior business and technical leaders to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning data platforms, reporting, automation, AI agents, governance, and operational excellence.
  • Translate complex business challenges into scalable solutions that improve productivity, decision quality, and customer impact.
  • Establish program governance, success metrics, communication strategies, and change management plans to ensure successful adoption.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and foster collaboration between engineering, analytics, operations, and business teams.
  • Champion customer-zero innovation by leveraging Microsoft's technologies internally to solve business challenges and generate scalable best practices.

Benefits

  • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
