About The Position

Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. We’re hiring a full-time Director of Business Operations. to work at our Pueblo OR Grand Junction facilities. Remote/Hybrid option may be available. You’ll serve as a trusted quality improvement expert, driving program enhancements across clinical and operational teams while ensuring strict confidentiality and full compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations. In this role, you’ll partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows, strengthen policies, and implement best practices that improve outcomes and maximize value-based reimbursement performance. You’ll help design and deliver organization-wide quality training, monitor key performance measures, and support data-informed improvement initiatives—while maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation and advancing the organization’s mission in every aspect of your work.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree is required preferably in a behavioral health clinical field or healthcare administration
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare process-improvement and/or quality with a preference for behavioral health and/or primary care
  • Expertise in the areas of quality improvement metrics, process improvement project management, and value-based payment initiatives
  • A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Basic computer skills, knowledge of healthcare operations, and knowledge of clinical quality
  • Must already be authorized to work in the US; sponsorships not available.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and protected information
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical quality/process improvement best practice
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to healthcare
  • Assist with programmatic improvement activities across all programs and lines of business
  • Assist in developing a comprehensive training plan and program related to quality with all Health Solutions staff
  • Provide strategic partnership and support to clinical and operational directors and supervisors regarding Health Solutions policies, procedures, and practices as they relate to program improvement quality
  • Evaluate and monitor relevant Health Solutions policies, procedures, and workflows to maximize outcomes
  • Maximize reimbursement opportunities through meeting or exceeding payer performance metrics including but not limited to Behavioral Health Incentive Measures, Quality and Access Measures, and primary care value-based reimbursement
  • Partner with related operational teams, including but not limited to Business Intelligence, Electronic Health Records, and Revenue Cycle Management, on improvement projects.
  • Keep accurate, complete, and up-to-date records with 100% compliance with set standards
  • Adhere to the spirit of the mission statement while performing assigned duties
