About The Position

A fast-growing, venture-backed company in the health services space is seeking a Director of Business Operations to lead one of its most important regional markets. This is a general manager role with full ownership of a growing regional business, including its financial performance, strategy, and daily operations. You will lead and expand a hands-on field team while building lasting relationships with the medical partners who rely on the company's services. Much of your time will be spent in the field, visiting partner locations to make sure operations run smoothly and every experience meets a high standard. You will also work closely with product and engineering leaders to find opportunities for automation and bring modern, AI-enabled workflows into everyday operations. The role offers a competitive base salary and an attractive total compensation package.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in operations or strategy, with direct ownership of revenue and costs for a region or business unit.
Proven people-management experience leading a sizable team of full-time employees or contractors.
A background in management consulting followed by hands-on operating roles at a high-growth startup or marketplace company.
A roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
Comfort with regular local travel.
Active use of AI tools to build better processes.
