About The Position

Urban Insight is hiring a Director of Business Development to lead new business growth for its digital agency. The position combines developing a self-sourced book of business with ownership of the full sales process for inbound opportunities from referrals, partners, RFPs, the company website and marketing. The Director identifies target organizations, conducts personalized outreach, develops referral and partner channels, and manages opportunities from qualification and discovery through proposals, negotiation and close. They collaborate with senior leaders, technical and client strategists, and delivery teams on executive sponsorship, solution design, estimates, scopes of work and client handoffs. They also represent Urban Insight at conferences and sector events and maintain a clear, current CRM and pipeline. The role is remote within the United States, with the Los Angeles area preferred, and involves approximately four to six trips per year for conferences and client meetings. Compensation includes a $100,000–$125,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, with stated on-target earnings of $165,000–$205,000. The Director joins the management team as the voice of sales and business development.
