About The Position

PC is seeking a Director of Business Development to support sales activities in Water Treatment Construction Services. This support is in conjunction with the Company's Three-Year Business and sales plans, and Corporate Strategic Plan. Specifically, this individual is responsible for obtaining new strategic work by maintaining contacts with potential clients, developing relationships, and participating in all aspects of the Company’s business development efforts. This position can be based in Florida.

Requirements

  • Experience in Water Treatment Construction Services sales.
  • Ability to maintain contacts with potential clients and develop relationships.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of business development efforts.
  • Experience in developing leads and positioning for Integrated Delivery projects.
  • Understanding of customer needs.
  • Experience in developing and recommending partnerships or joint ventures.
  • Experience in leading pre-proposal efforts.
  • Ability to support the RFP response process from start to finish.
  • Experience responding to requests for proposals and requests for qualifications.
  • Ability to prepare deliverable matrices for requests.
  • Experience overseeing the compliance and submission process for proposals.
  • Experience leading sales presentation and interview rehearsal processes.
  • Ability to take editorial and leadership responsibility for delivering a winning proposal.
  • Experience coordinating efforts with supporting groups for proposals (Estimating, Operations, BD support).
  • Experience attending public relations, trade shows, conferences, and special events.
  • Ability to develop and execute an annual work plan based on the company’s Strategic Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop leads and lead the positioning for PC in pursuing Integrated Delivery projects.
  • Understand customer needs, develop and recommend partnerships or joint ventures where appropriate, and lead pre-proposal efforts.
  • Support the RFP response process from start to finish, including responding to requests for proposals and qualifications, preparing deliverable matrices, overseeing compliance and submission processes, and leading sales presentation and interview rehearsal processes.
  • Take complete editorial and leadership responsibility for delivering a winning proposal.
  • Coordinate efforts with supporting groups for proposals, such as Estimating, Operations, and BD support.
  • Attend public relations, trade shows, conferences, and special events.
  • Develop and execute the Department’s annual work plan based on the company’s Strategic Plan.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on market segment.
