About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical & SSM Health Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK, is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. We're currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our collaborative leadership team. The DBD serves as a mentor to the admissions team and plays a key role in developing and growing their staff. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who has a passion for rehab and is skilled at building and nurturing long-lasting relationships within their local community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Rehab Therapist (strongly preferred)
  • Five or more years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing (inpatient services marketing in the local market is strongly preferred)
  • Three or more years of team management experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven success in relationship development and training/mentoring of team members
  • Ability to work effectively with direct reports and hospital leadership to achieve hospital budgets and positive patient outcomes.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the team in the field, focusing on relationship-building with hospital leaders.
  • Remove obstacles and enhance team training and development.
  • Work with hospital directors and CEOs to strategize admissions and streamline processes.
  • Develop effective messaging and utilize data to guide best practices.
