About The Position

As the only free-standing psychiatric hospital in the Central Kentucky area, The Ridge Behavioral Health System is expanding its services to meet the needs of our community. The Ridge is a 110-bed hospital located in Lexington, KY, providing psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Services include Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, and Medication Management. The Ridge has provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years. This is a full-time, dayshift position.

Requirements

• Minimum Associate Degree with 5 years mental health experience required.
• Three to five years of experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Five to eight years of experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise the Business Development Team to ensure they maintain existing referral source relationships, develop new marketing opportunities in the facility’s service area, and maintains a minimum number of contacts per week.
• Ensure the team maintains communication with referral sources networks with clinical staff members as needed to obtain information regarding the general progress of patients to provide feedback to referral sources.
• Contributes to the organization’s success by effectively marketing both the hospital and alternative services.
