The Business Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities within the data, insights and AI solutions domain. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop a robust pipeline of potential clients in target industries. Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients. Sales: Position Ascentt's data, insights and AI solutions to address client challenges and business objectives. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects. Negotiate contracts and close deals within established timelines. Achieve and exceed sales quotas and KPIs. Solution Consulting: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., data scientists, engineers) to understand solution capabilities and develop tailored proposals. Provide pre-sales support by addressing customer inquiries and conducting needs assessments. Contribute to the development of sales collateral and marketing materials. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Provide ongoing support and account management to foster long-term partnerships.
