About The Position

Dallas Medical Center is a full-service acute care hospital seeking a Director of Business Development to join its award-winning team. The Director of Business Development organizes, directs, and is responsible for all aspects of business development, including the development, implementation, monitoring, updating, and ongoing analysis of the organization's strategic business development plan. In partnership with the CEO, the director is responsible for the growth of the hospital's admissions, clinical program and service line development, business planning, physician relations, post-acute strategy and development, and senior outreach. The role also involves creating and/or implementing tracking mechanisms to monitor increases in volume, growth, and revenue, and to quantify specific efforts and their impact on these metrics by program, service line, and/or physician.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business (Development), or related field required.
  • At least 7 years in related field (business development and/or marketing) required.
  • At least 2 years of healthcare management experience required.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • Experience with project/program development/management strongly preferred.
