About The Position

Quantum Sky is seeking a Director of Brand who will define and steward the Quantum Sky brand, shaping our positioning, narrative, identity, and expression as the company grows. This leader will translate Quantum Sky's company strategy, customer insights, and market opportunities into a distinctive and compelling brand—and ensure it comes to life consistently across marketing, communications, creative, digital, and customer experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, exceptional creative judgment, commercial instincts, and the ability to inspire and lead across teams.

Requirements

Proven experience leading brand strategy and brand marketing at a senior level.
Experience partnering with Product and Design teams to translate brand strategy into compelling digital and UI/UX experiences.
A track record of building, repositioning, or meaningfully evolving brands.
Deep expertise in positioning, messaging, storytelling, integrated marketing, and creative strategy.
Exceptional creative judgment and a high bar for quality and craft.
Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how brand contributes to business growth and long-term value.
Experience using customer, market, competitive, and cultural insights to shape strategy and creative work.
Ability to connect brand strategy and investment to measurable business and marketing outcomes.
Strong cross-functional leadership, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience building and developing high-performing teams and leading agencies or creative partners.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complexity into clear, compelling direction.
Comfortable moving between high-level strategy and hands-on execution in a fast-moving, growing organization.
Bachelors/MBA in Marketing/Communications
10-15 years of experience
Progressive experience: Brand strategy, corporate marketing, communications, or related discipline
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
Experience working for a government contractor, federal technology company, defense contractor, aerospace/space company, or professional services organization.
Experience building a brand during a period of rapid growth, M&A, rebranding, or market expansion.
Data-informed: Uses market intelligence and performance metrics to evaluate brand effectiveness.
Hands-on: Willing and able to develop strategy while personally driving execution.

Responsibilities

Shape and Own Quantum Sky's brand strategy and positioning. Define and evolve our positioning, value proposition, brand architecture, and strategic point of view to strengthen differentiation and relevance.
Champion the customer. Use customer research, cultural trends, and competitive intelligence to uncover opportunities and inform brand strategy and creative decisions.
Shape our story. Own the Quantum Sky narrative and messaging framework, ensuring we communicate clearly, consistently, and compellingly across audiences and channels.
Set the creative vision and bar. Steward our visual and verbal identity and provide strategic and creative direction for campaigns, content, experiences, and major brand initiatives.
Build the brand in market. Develop integrated brand programs, campaigns, partnerships, and experiences that grow awareness, consideration, relevance, and affinity for Quantum Sky.
Shape the brand experience through UI/UX. Partner with Product, Design, and Technology to ensure the Quantum Sky brand is thoughtfully expressed across our digital products and experiences. Champion intuitive, engaging experiences that bring our brand promise to life at every customer touchpoint. Help establish design principles and standards that create consistency while enabling our products and experiences to evolve.
Connect brand to business impact. Establish meaningful measures of brand health and effectiveness, using insights and performance to sharpen strategy, demonstrate impact, and guide investment.
Lead across Quantum Sky. Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, Communications, and executive leadership to create a cohesive brand experience and build alignment around how Quantum Sky shows up in the market.
Build the capability. Develop the people, processes, agency relationships, tools, and brand systems required to scale consistently high-quality work.
