About The Position

This role advises and serves in the development and execution of short-term and long-range plans based on broad corporate goals, acquisitions, strategic planning and growth objectives. The position evaluates and analyzes the results of programs and services, reporting findings to the Chief People Officer. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing benefits to determine employee needs, trends, regulations, and practices, and assisting in developing competitive programs. The role also involves administering various benefits programs, managing payroll contributions, handling employee inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years human resources benefits experience OR completion of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or closely related field, and one-year experience of Benefits experience.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and serve in the development and execution of short-term and long-range plans based on broad corporate goals, acquisitions, strategic planning and growth objectives.
  • Evaluate and analyze the results of programs and services regularly and systematically, reporting these results to the Chief People Officer.
  • Review and analyze benefits to determine employee needs, trends, regulations and practices, and assist in developing competitive programs and services to meet company goals.
  • Complete monthly reviews and audit of all medical, dental, vision and voluntary invoices for company entities.
  • Prepare and distribute written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits programs such as insurance plans, pension plans, 401(k), life and special employer-sponsored plans.
  • Administer COBRA for all locations monthly.
  • Administer Qualified Medical Child Support Orders.
  • Track all Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (401K).
  • Manage the payroll 401K contributions and loan payments.
  • Administer the Company portions for all 401K death claims.
  • Administer the Company portion for all voluntary and life accident & death claims.
  • Track all Benefit DIA contributions owed due to employee’s FMLA and LOA.
  • Track all Benefit continuation issues related to employee FMLA and LOA.
  • Assist the outside Auditors in the completion of the annual 401K audit.
  • Perform annual 401K non-discrimination testing.
  • Work with the Benefits Broker to provide census reports and any data required for audits and renewal.
  • Work with Provider to complete annual ACA filings and 1095/1094 production.
  • Work with UKG and Consultants to complete the annual OE system build.
  • Assist all employees with annual open enrollment questions and problems.
  • Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.
  • Comply with all Internal Controls, Company, departmental and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Utilize proper conduct of professionalism in compliance with company standards.
