Director of Behavioral Health Program (RN)
About The Position
Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals, typically 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging. This role involves leading a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, therapist, and medical office coordinator, providing services to the senior population. The position focuses on community engagement through education and referral development, ensuring compliance with professional and ethical guidelines, and growing and maintaining patient census.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing - required
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in state of operation - required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple disciplines - required
- Basic computer knowledge - required
- Demonstrated skill in problem-solving, consensus building, conflict resolution, advocacy, and team-building - required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - preferred
- Management experience- highly preferred
Responsibilities
