About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Assessment, Evaluation, and Accreditation, the Director of Assessment and Evaluation (Director) is responsible for managing all aspects of the assessment and evaluation of the undergraduate medical education program. The Director is responsible for both learner and program assessment data that leads to programmatic decision-making and planning, institutional accreditation, and continuous quality improvement. Working in close collaboration with Admissions, Curricular Affairs, Student Affairs and other medical education units, the Director helps develop and implement effective assessment strategies and tools to strengthen the medical school’s academic processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing all aspects of assessment and evaluation.
  • Experience with learner and program assessment data.
  • Experience in programmatic decision-making and planning.
  • Experience with institutional accreditation.
  • Experience with continuous quality improvement.
  • Experience developing and implementing assessment strategies and tools.
  • Collaboration with various departments such as Admissions, Curricular Affairs, and Student Affairs.
