The Director of Assessment and Evaluation provide strategic leadership, oversight, and innovation in the design, implementation, analysis, and continuous quality improvement of assessment systems and program evaluation processes in the MD program. This role ensures that assessment practices are robust, data-driven, student-centered, and aligned with institutional missions, visions, and goals, accreditation standards (e.g., Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)), and national best practices in medical education. The Director works closely with faculty, course and clerkship directors, curriculum leaders, and other stakeholders to develop and oversee a comprehensive program of learner assessment and program evaluation. The Director of Assessment and Evaluation analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement and disseminates findings to relevant stakeholders and committees.
