About The Position

Care Advantage is a leading home health organization undergoing a full-scale digital transformation, investing heavily in modern data infrastructure and artificial intelligence to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, financial performance, and workforce empowerment. This role is a build, transform, and lead mandate, serving as the enterprise owner of the AI and data ecosystem. The Director will set strategy and governance, drive execution and adoption, and deliver measurable business outcomes, partnering directly with executive leadership to transform data into actionable insights and AI-powered capabilities. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in high-ownership, high-visibility environments.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI leadership roles
  • 3+ years in formal people leadership roles
  • Proven experience owning cloud data platforms (Snowflake strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience owning ETL/ELT orchestration tools (Matillion, ADF, Fivetran, or similar)
  • Proven experience owning BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Experience delivering end-to-end data or AI initiatives with measurable impact
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle data
  • Knowledge of value-based care reporting
  • Knowledge of multi-system data ecosystems
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Architect and operationalize Care Advantage's AI vision across all business functions, ensuring enterprise-wide AI use cases deliver measurable ROI and responsible AI practices are embedded in workflows.
  • Own and administer the organization's AI productivity stack, including LLMs, automation tools, and copilots.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deploy high-impact AI use cases across clinical, financial, HR, and operations.
  • Develop governance frameworks for responsible AI usage, data privacy, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Lead the pilot-to-production lifecycle for emerging technologies.
  • Partner with business leaders to define success metrics and adoption KPIs.
  • Fully own the enterprise data platform, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs, including cloud data warehouse ownership, ETL/ELT pipeline orchestration, data modeling, transformation, integration, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure near real-time access to trusted data, reduced data latency, improved data accuracy, and a scalable architecture supporting growth.
  • Lead the transformation from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-driven decision-making.
  • Own enterprise BI tools, dashboards, and reporting standards, delivering critical reporting for Finance, revenue cycle, Operations, and Value-Based Care programs.
  • Automate manual reporting through pipelines and dashboarding.
  • Establish enterprise KPI definitions and governance standards.
  • Implement a mature data governance framework across all systems, defining data ownership, lineage, and integrity standards, establishing quality monitoring, enforcing access controls, and ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and lead a high-performing data organization, including direct management of Data Engineering and BI resources, hiring, onboarding, scaling the team, and establishing development plans.
  • Act as a trusted advisor across the C-suite and senior leadership, presenting strategy, roadmaps, and performance updates, translating technical concepts into business value, and maintaining a prioritized analytics backlog.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Clinical, and Revenue Cycle teams.
