About The Position
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing advancement services, including database management, operations, reporting, and gift processing. The Director will ensure the accurate and efficient management of constituent data and support the overall goals of the advancement team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years of experience in database management, operations, reporting, higher education advancement, nonprofit operations, business, finance, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret, and present information clearly and accurately
Nice To Haves
- Significant experience with gift processing, advancement reporting, data segmentation, or constituent data management
- Experience using Slate or another advancement-oriented CRM
- Previous experience supervising staff and leading a team
- Familiarity with CASE standards and IRS regulations related to charitable giving, gift administration, and advancement services best practices
