About The Position

Excelsior Wellness is seeking a Director of Advancement Operations to help build and scale the systems, processes, and infrastructure that support our fundraising, community engagement, marketing, communications, and grant development efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief Advancement Officer, this role serves as a key operational leader responsible for advancement systems, data management, reporting, project coordination, and departmental operations. As a member of the Advancement Team, you will help create the operational foundation that supports fundraising, community partnerships, marketing, storytelling, and long-term organizational growth. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing department and contribute to transformational initiatives that expand access to health, behavioral health, housing, and family services throughout our region.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Salesforce administration, CRM management, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to build collaborative relationships across departments.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting fundraising, philanthropy, nonprofit, healthcare, or community-based organizations highly preferred.
  • Experience with donor databases, grants management, and fundraising operations highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Advancement Department operations, projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize Salesforce, including administration, reporting, integrations, and data integrity.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making and fundraising performance.
  • Coordinate donor stewardship, grant tracking, compliance reporting, and funding records.
  • Support fundraising events, sponsorships, and community engagement activities.
  • Manage departmental records, contracts, budgets, invoices, and vendor coordination.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, communications, and project tracking across the Advancement Team.
  • Develop and improve operational processes, workflows, and documentation to support departmental growth.
