About The Position

Wunder is building a Modern Energy Company and is seeking an energetic, analytical, and detail-oriented accountant to join their team. As Director of Accounting, you will oversee core accounting operations and build the systems, processes, and controls required for a rapidly scaling renewable platform. This role spans both corporate accounting and asset-level accounting across a complex portfolio of commercial scale solar investments structured through multiple SPVs. You will own and improve key workflows including the monthly close, financial reporting, accounts payable, and audit support while also helping design the next generation of our finance processes. This is not a traditional accounting role; you will be working at the intersection of finance, data, and infrastructure, managing and reporting on hundreds of millions of dollars of renewable energy assets. If you’re excited about building a new asset class, operating in a high-growth environment, and contributing to a mission-driven company focused on climate impact, this role is for you.
