The role involves collaborating with administration and curriculum staff on testing programs, analyzing results, and preparing reports for schools and the Board of Education. Additionally, the Director will conduct training on test administration and the use of test information for instructional improvement, uphold testing ethics, and stay current with testing regulations. The position also requires proficiency in using state and commercial software for reporting, working with other departments on evaluation and survey designs, fulfilling data requests, and utilizing quality tools like PDSA to improve district performance and oversee SACS/CASI district accreditation.
